An immersive portrait of a city, painted through music, projections and storytelling.
A London Kaleidoscope merged the metropolis with a live concert through animated projections of the buildings in which musical works were composed.
Featuring as part of Kings Place’s award-winning Unwrapped series, the eclectic and fast-paced concert - ranging from Mozart to Grieg, and Ruth Gipps to Jimi Hendrix - intertwined music with urban soundscapes and narration devised from diaries, letters and press coverage from the past three hundred years.
Built from extensive research, the performance provided links between timeless art and the city that still surrounds us today.
