I have special expertise in complex cross-arts classical music projects, immersive stagings, and new music/premiere performances. Alongside co-producing Spitalfields Music Festival since 2021 and #ConcertLab since 2017, I have produced various standalone events for clients including the Royal Philharmonic Society, London Sinfonietta and Southbank Sinfonia.

I bring a strong network of trusted artistic, technical and venue collaborators, meticulous attention to detail, and ensure that your concert or event is delivered to budget.

Royal Philharmonic Society Awards

I have creative produced the RPS Awards since 2019, working closely with the RPS team and BBC Radio 3 to deliver an evening celebrating some of classical music’s best stories and talents from the previous 12 months.

Held in venues around the UK, including at Southbank Centre and Wigmore Hall in London, the RNCM in Manchester and RBC in Birmingham, I lead on the presentation of the evening - ensuring projections, sound and staging all run seamlessly.

Autopsy of an Aberration
ft. GBSR Duo and CHAINES

Autopsy of an Aberration was a collaboration between GBSR Duo and CHAINES, with a world premiere performance as part of Spitalfields Music Festival.

It combined amplified percussion, keys, vocals, synths, projection, screens, lighting and theatrical-staging, set in a highly atmospheric former warehouse in Shoreditch.

London Sinfonietta: Humans

Produced as part of London Sinfonietta’s Writing the Future programme, Humans saw the world premiere performances of two multidisciplinary works at Southbank Centre.

Composer Rockey Sun Keting collaborated with choreographer/dancer Lico Keuha Li and set designer K Peng in Conduit, while Pablo Martinez worked with director Elayce Ismail and soprano Stephanie Lamprea in Just for Today.

Both works pushed the boundaries of how contemporary music can interact with other art forms, requiring a complex mix of artist, venue and technical collaboration to successfully deliver.

The Listening Post
in collaboration with The Postal Museum

The Listening Post was a music-theatre collaboration with the Postal Museum, hosted in the former engineering depot of Mail Rail, London’s underground postal railway.

Bringing together live music and actors in a spectacular space not normally used for performance, the project explored the crucial role of letters in shaping the lives and music of composers.

The Sound Within

The Sound Within was a truly immersive concert experience, where the audience were free to wander within an orchestra as they played. Storytelling accompanied a Beethoven symphony, exploring the composer’s own changing relationship with sound through projection, narration and BSL interpretation.

  • I bring a range of practical and creative skills which can be applied to help you develop and deliver an exceptional event.

    In creative production, this usually involves delivering an existing creative vision in collaboration with other artists or organisations. I bring a tried-and-tested toolkit of creative experiences elsewhere, so can offer practical advice on how we might solve particular problems or elevate the audience experience even further.

    I also offer creative direction, where I can take the creative lead in developing a project.

    My specialism is in classical music events that interact with other art forms (e.g. dance, actors, projection, museum interpretation) or explore new approaches to staging (e.g. immersion, lighting, sound).

  • I bring a wide set of skills and experiences from which we can pick and choose to best serve your project.

    If you’re at an early stage, perhaps with a concept or idea, but unsure how to translate it into a reality, I can help you to find a pathway forwards - devising a production plan and budget.

    I can also help to find and contract creative, technical and venue partners, or offer a suite of design, video, projection and creative services myself which often help to save time and cost.

    Further down the track, I can project manage your concert or performance to ensure an exceptional audience experience and value for money.

  • It depends on the scale of project. For smaller projects, I can often provide equipment and technical support - including lighting, sound and multimedia.

    For larger projects, I have a network of top-level lighting designers, sound engineers and production managers who I regularly collaborate with and can bring on-board.

  • The cost of creative production support varies from project to project, depending on its scale and complexity.

    While that is likely a frustratingly vague answer, I have delivered exceptional value for money events for a number of arts organisations, always mindful of limited budgets. I have developed a toolkit of techniques and approaches that guarantee a high production value and audience experience within surprisingly small budgets.

  • I’m based in London but work with organisations throughout the UK, Europe and even further afield.

    Many sessions can be hosted online, but I am always keen to incorporate in-person opportunities to meet your team and visit venues ahead of delivering an event.
