RPS AWARDS

Creative Direction | Projection Design | Visual Identity | Production

Re-imagining a major live awards event

Client: Royal Philharmonic Society | Year: 2019 - Present

Described by the Sunday Times as “the biggest night in UK classical music”, the RPS Awards now place storytelling at their heart – celebrating talent and impact throughout society.

Across creative direction, design and production, I worked closely with the RPS team to re-imagine how their annual awards ceremony could better showcase the impact of artists, ensembles and community-organisations nationwide.

Live performances sit alongside projection and presenter-driven storytelling, creating a fresh audience experience that appeals to both industry nominees and a wider public audience.

Ceremonies in London, Birmingham and Manchester have iteratively grown in scale and ambition, featuring performances and cameos by the likes of Jacob Collier, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, John Williams and Steven Spielberg.
