Creative Production | Experience Design | Visual Identity
Creative producing a major annual arts festival in East London
Client: Spitalfields Music | Year: 2021 - Present
Each summer, a multi-arts festival takes place in remarkable spaces across the East End.
Mixing music, theatre, dance, spoken word, history walks and visual arts, it is a meeting of culture lovers and experience seekers with some of the leading artists of the moment.
Performances, events, digital offerings and unique experiences take place across the City of London, Tower Hamlets and Hackney, in venues including Wilton’s Music Hall, Village Underground and the Tower of London.

IMPACT
Over 50 innovative events and performances across 24 venues
More than 6000 attendees
Press coverage in the Guardian, Times, BBC Radio, Londonist and others
Collaborating with artists and venues, I have shaped the production planning, experience design and delivery of over 50 festival events since 2021.
Highlights have included an interactive performance combining live musicians in London, New York and an audience app that generated real-time projections; projections taking over every surface of a historic church; and specially composed music by Jonathan Dove for a late night concert where the audience lay around a piano.
The visual identity I developed in 2023 celebrates the area’s rich history alongside the array of talent the festival features, from international musicians and authors to members of the local community.
